Search
It is easy to search in Chamber Trade. All search options can be freely combined. However, please remember that the more detailed search you make, the fewer are the matches, and vice versa.
On the search page you can search for companies who are either:
- looking for business partners or
- selling products/services or
- buying products/services
Free
Text Search:
If
you are looking for a certain product/service you may choose to
enter one or more search word(s) in the free text field. You can use up
to five (5) different words separated by space. The space is equivalent
to OR and in this way it will widen your search. Do not forget to use synonyms
if you cannot find your product or maybe you should only use the word in
the singular form; "sign" in stead of "signs". You may use small or capital
letters in the free text field.

With
this search string you will get business inquiries which contain words
with mobile, e.g. medical mobile units, mobile air condition, automobile.
You can narrow your search by using the classifications (se below).

You
may also go directly to the classification of products/services and choose
from the list. This will help you to get an overview of the business opportunities
within your line of business. Click here for a
complete list of all available classifications. There are 80 different
classifications within 12 "headings". You can search on one classification
or you can choose several categories by using Ctrl. A combination of several
categories will widen your search. You can also choose the "headings"
of the classification list, e.g. Electronics, Computer, Optical. In this
case you will cover 8 different categories.

you will get a more detailed search. This is recommendable if you get too
many – irrelevant – matches by using only the free text search criteria.

You can
further limit your search to a specific country or a geographical area. If
you choose "Poland" you cannot combine this with the geographical area of
"East and Central Europe" and vice versa. Neither can you choose more than
one country at a time. Chamber Trade uses the following geographical areas:

If you only choose a specific country (Latvia) together with the type of business inquiry (looking for a co-operation partner) you will get a list of all the Latvian companies that are looking for a business partner regardless of products and/or services. The same is valid if you choose one of the other two categories Selling and Buying.

You
are a British manufacturer and distributor of office equipment. Now you
want to see if there is anyone looking for a partner in your country.

You will then select the companies that specifically have stated that they are looking for a partner in Great Britain. Narrow this search by using the classification of products/services, Office Equipment and Stationery.

You will have to include all words in order to get a direct hit. If you only type "Norway" you will miss the inquiries that contain the word "Norwegian" as well as the inquiries that have stated that they want a partner in Scandinavia or in the Nordic countries – areas which both include Norway! Once again such a search can be combined with the classification of products/services.
You run a company within the foodstuff industry in Sweden and would like to expand your business by taking in new products that could be a complement to your existing line of business. Your want your new partner to be located in the EU area.
